New Year's Eve Walk

Last night It was snowing, snowing hard and heavy. It was the beautiful type of snow that is fluffy and sticks to every twig. It had been a long time since I had taken a walk in the snow. Years ago Hubby and I would grab our coats an out we would go. The snow seemed to be calling my name. So, Hubby and I bundled up and out we went. The snow crunched beneath our feet. I love snow. I love the look of it, the sound of it, and the feel of it. Hubby isn't as fond of it. He says if I had to shovel it I wouldn't like it very much either! He may be right. *G* I thought I would share a few photos of our walk last night. I think it is funny that in the photos it looks like there are big snowballs flying through the air. There wasn't, it was just snowing so hard that is what the camera lens saw.

As far as quilting is concerned, I have been trying to organize my UFO's. I will soon be going on a quilting get-a-way with some of my friends. We will be using the get-a-way as a time to get some of our UFO's finished, or at least further along the quilting process. Photos to come!

What gorgeous pictures. You made walking in the snow sound fun...I think I am more inclined to dislike it, but I might rethink that!

That looks like so much fun. Snow is so beautiful before it gets plowed and full of dirt.

We also got snow last night and today and love it! Thanks for sharing your pictures. Oh my goodness, I had those same duck dish towels and potholders as wedding gifts. My kitchen was decorated in blue with ducks, the living room and bedroom was the mauve or rose color!LOL!

Glad to see we weren't the only ones that got out in the snow and cold! Your pictures are lovely. I like the one of the street with snowflake lights...it's so peaceful looking.

Love that "Christmas" tree! It looks like one of the lace decorations I have on my indoor tree. No snow yet for us. Maybe tonight?

Georgous! Howsomeever - I don't have to shovel rain - so I guess there is a silver lining to every cloud. (At least I need to convince myself of that) :->

Enjoy the days, however they come along.
